Motocross Helmets

At Helmetheaven you will find a carefully curated selection of motocross helmets for motocross, enduro and off-road. Every helmet in this collection is chosen for protection, fit and finish, and meets the European ECE 22.06 standard.

What to look for when choosing a motocross helmet?

A good motocross helmet combines a light, strong shell with effective impact absorption and ample ventilation. Models with MIPS offer extra protection against rotational forces in an angled crash. Also consider weight: lighter helmets reduce fatigue during long motos. Choose the right size by measuring the circumference of your head just above the eyebrows.

FAQ//Veelgestelde vragen

Which motocross helmet suits me best?
That depends on your riding style and budget. For recreational riding a composite or polycarbonate helmet is sufficient, while keen and professional riders choose a lighter carbon helmet. Always pay attention to the correct size and to rotational protection such as MIPS, RHEON or ODS.
How do I measure my helmet size?
Measure the circumference of your head just above your eyebrows and ears with a tape measure. Compare the result in centimetres with the size chart of the relevant brand. If you are between two sizes, generally choose the smaller one, as the lining breaks in slightly.
What does ECE 22.06 mean?
ECE 22.06 is the current European safety standard for motorcycle helmets. All motocross helmets at Helmetheaven meet this standard, which means they have been extensively tested for impact, rotation and penetration, among other things.
Should I replace my motocross helmet after a crash?
Yes. A helmet is designed to absorb one heavy impact. Even without visible damage, the structure may be compromised. Always replace your helmet after a hard crash, even if it still looks fine.
